September 23, 2003: Pilot

WB heads back to school with a drama that looks to follow in Dawson's Creek's teen-soap footsteps. Also filmed in North Carolina, the series may lack the high-minded dialogue that distinguished Creek, but its familiar love-triangle storyline does have an interesting twist: The rivals are half brothers. Nathan and Lucas (James Lafferty, Chad Michael Murray) are two hoops stars who grew up on opposite sides of the tracks and now compete over cheerleader Peyton (Hilarie Burton). In the opener, Lucas must decide if he wants to join the high-school varsity team.
