October 5, 2005: Like You Like An Arsonist
 

Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) awaits Brooke's (Sophia Bush) return to Tree Hill after a summer spent with Peyton (Hilarie Burton.) Peyton investigates the mysterious woman who claims to be her mother while Nathan (James Lafferty) must deal with Haley's (Bethany Joy Lenz) reappearance at the same time as the fire at Scott Motors. Dan's (Paul Johansson) fate after the fire is revealed.

October 12, 2005: From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea

Brooke (Sophia Bush) organizes an "End of Summer Beach Party," but soon finds she's the only one in a party mood. Nathan (James Lafferty) comes home from High Flyers to reconnect with Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz), but he and Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) are at each other's throats. Meanwhile, Lucas struggles with Brooke's new rules for dating, Peyton (Hilarie Burton) tries to come to terms with the new truths about her family, and Dan (Paul Johansson) remembers what happened the night of the fire at his dealership.

October 19, 2005:  First Day on a Brand New Planet  

It's the first day of senior year and estranged spouses Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) have trouble adjusting as classmates. While Brooke (Sophia Bush) continues to play hard-to-get, Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) learns a troubling secret about Peyton's (Hilarie Burton) mom. Meanwhile, Dan (Paul Johansson) closes in on the truth about the dealership fire

October 26,2005: An Attempt To Tip The Scales
 
It's party time in Tree Hill. A masquerade ball at Tric provides the perfect opportunity for Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) to win back Nathan's (James Lafferty) heart, and for Brooke (Sophia Bush) to seduce Lucas (Chad Michael Murray). Punk-pop sensation "Fall Out Boy" performs amidst the costume madness, while Peyton (Hilarie Burton) tries to come to terms with the new mother in her life. Meanwhile, Dan (Paul Johansson) gives Deb (Barbara Allen Woods) an ultimatum, but soon finds she's a much more worthy opponent than he thought.

November 2, 2005: A Multitude of Casualties
 
It's Midnight Madness in Tree Hill as the Ravens officially begin basketball practice - with explosive results. New hoops captain Nathan (James Lafferty) clashes with Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) over Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz). Brooke (Sophia Bush) fills a vacancy on the cheerleading squad, only to regret her decision when the new girl, Rachel (Danneel Harris), sets her sights on Lucas. Meanwhile, Dan's (Paul Johansson) bid for mayor takes a surprising turn when an unlikely opponent steps forward.

November 9, 2005: Locked Hearts and Hand Grenades
 
Brooke makes a "Fantasy Boy Draft," after all of the cheerleaders are fighting over the same guys. Haley and Peyton continue to argue over Nathan. Dan butts heads with Karen because the election is drawing nearer. Lucas is trying to keep up with the fast pace of basketball

November 16, 2005: Champagne for My Real Friends, and Real Pain for My Sham Friends
 
The fantasy draft dates begin, Lucas finds himself with Rachel and a very familiar setting. Brooke is on a double date with an unusual couple. Mouth and Peyton hang out again. And Peyton regrets the things she says to Ellie. Karen and Deb take the campaigning for mayor, to a new level, to bring down Dan. Nathan gets mad when Chris gets close to Haley
 

November 5,2005: The Worst Day Since Yesterday
 
As the town readies for the Ravens’ first basketball game, Lucas worries that his head and heart aren't in it. Nathan accuses Lucas of being the Ravens' weak link. Peyton and Haley mend fences to support Brooke in a time of need. When the mayoral race tightens, Dan resorts to a smear campaign.
 

December 7,2005: How a Resurrection Really Feels
 
It is revealed that Lucas knows who tried to kill Dan and he confronts the guilty party. Brooke, Peyton and Haley find themselves behind bars. Peyton finds her guilty conscience on the surface. Chris Keller convinces Nathan to be his wingman at a high-stakes poker game. The residents of Tree Hill finally choose a mayor
